We had previously been to Ruth's Chris for special occasions. Donovan's food and service was far superior. Our waiter, Michael was polished and professional. We are already planning a return visit"

Every staff member was personable and friendly and the service was just as good as the food, which was amazing. The dark wood and sculptures used for decor give the place a club like feel and the atmosphere was just perfect for a cozy dinner for two or a larger family or business occasion."

"I believe this was our 5th time to Donovan's in La Jolla and like the other 4, times it delivers! I always have the special New York Bone-In 20oz cut medium rare and it taste amazing. I have been to SW in Vegas and the steaks were fairly equal, but SW is a la carte and Donovan's entree's come with veggies and a choice of potatoes. It by far is the best steak house on the west coast."
