Since I have moved to Salt Lake from Houston, I have been less than impressed with most of the restaurants and service in this city. However, last night we celebrated my birthday at Donovan's, and all I can say is that I was thoroughly impressed. Chad and his team were excellent, attentive without being over bearing. I am not only a culinary graduate, I worked for 13 years in the hospitality industry and I fully consider myself a food and service snob. I was so pleased to have had such a great experience. The seafood tower was amazing, the filet was one of the best I have ever had and the service was outstanding. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable, you all have definitely won me over!

"Impeccable service began as soon as my husband & I arrived. It began with the valet opening the door & welcoming us. We were seated less than 30 secs. when Chad introduced himself & went over the specials for the evening. We had brought our own bottle of wine & it was opened promptly to breathe. There was a team of seasoned servers to take care of us throughout the evening. Chad, Mickey and Robert were great. They tended to every need without being intrusive. The food was incredible. Shrimp cocktail, tomato basil soup, salad, filets and creme brulee & chocolate mousse were all great. The chef and manager came out to see how things were going. Overall, I will recommend Donovan's to my friends and will definitely be back for the best steaks in SLC"
